A regulator asks how three specific decisions were reached. Nobody can answer.

That is where this course starts. A claims pilot at a mid-size insurance carrier began by summarising files. Nothing dramatic happened. The summaries gradually started carrying a recommendation, adjusters under volume pressure started agreeing with them, and no document anywhere recorded that the system had begun making decisions. When the examination arrived, the team had the inputs and the outputs — and nothing in between.

This is not a course about what Claude can do. It is a course about owning a Claude system in production. That distinction is exactly what separates the Professional exam from Foundations. Foundations asks whether you can design a working Claude system. CCAR-P asks whether you can build one, ship it, defend the decisions when someone senior pushes back, and keep it safe and compliant a year later.

What makes this course different

Most CCAR-P preparation is a question bank. Where courses do teach, the material is organised concept by concept — a lecture on RAG, a lecture on evals, a lecture on guardrails — and you never see a single deployment assembled end to end.

This course carries one system through all seven exam domains. You meet Calderon Mutual in lecture two and design their claims deployment across the whole course: decomposed in Section 2, given its model and context strategy in Section 3, integrated in Section 4, proven in Section 5, governed in Section 6, defended and handed over in Section 7, and operated by the team that inherits it in Section 8.

You watch things fail, rather than reading that they can

Six lectures show a failure landing instead of describing it:

A rule written into the system prompt dissolves when a busy adjuster rephrases a question. Nobody attacks anything.

A client-side authorization check is bypassed and a $9,400 payment posts against a $250 authority.

An eval suite blocks a release — the change improved the case it targeted and regressed the case carrying the volume.

The same 90-second provider rate limit produces either a 20-minute self-inflicted outage or a mild delay, depending entirely on design.

The same screening timeout, failing open versus failing closed.

An instruction planted in a knowledge base is retrieved months later and obeyed, closing a claim with review bypassed.

Weighted to the real blueprint

Lecture counts are allocated to the published domain weights, not spread evenly. Integration is the largest teaching section because the exam says 19% — not because it is the easiest to film. Governance, stakeholder communication and enablement together get their full 35%, which is where technically strong candidates most reliably lose marks.

Honest about what is not settled

Published sources disagree on whether CCAR-P items are scenario-based or standalone. This course says so, and teaches for applied judgment, which serves you under either format. The exam pins a three-tier model decision frame while the shipped model family is wider — so the course teaches the frame that transfers and tells you to verify the current lineup in-product. No slide hard-codes a model list or a price, so nothing here goes stale when the lineup moves.
