Una herramienta fundamental y muy poderosa para el análisis de datos es Excel. Dentro de la serie de herramientas desarrolladas por Microsoft para este fin contamos con Power Query que nos permite limpiar, extraer y tranformar (ETL Extract, Transform and Load) desde la mayoría de los principales formatos de intercambio de datos como XML, CSV, Access, JSON y por supuesto de Excel. Power Query nos permite modificar, formatear, filtrar y realizar cálculos sencillos como sumarizar o acoplar los datos. Podemos realizar cambios en los formatos de los datos y, finalmente, exportar los datos a Excel o integrarlos a un modelo de datos. Una vez que hemos realizado nuestro proceso de ETL corresponde a crear el modelo de datos por medio de otra herramienta que es Power Pivot (también integrada a Excel), la cual también tiene funciones para extraer información para generar el modelo de datos, creando las relaciones entre las tablas y generando métricas sencillas como sumas, conteos, valores mínimos, máximos o promedios. Desde Powe Pivot podemos utilizar el poderoso lenguaje DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) el cual cuenta con funciones iterativas y de filtro con las que son muy complicadas en otros lenguajes. Los objetivos del presente curso son:Aprender a limpiar, transformar e importar datos de diferentes formatos como Access, CSV, XML y Excel a un modelo de datos.Aprender a instalar, importar datos, crear modelo de datos, cargar archivos externos, crear tablas dinámicas, crear gráficas dinámicas, el área de cálculo.Aprender a agregar datos al modelo, conocer la sintaxis de las expresiones de DAX, manejar los iteradores, crear una tabla de medidas, crear el fórmulas.Aprender a utilizar las funciones All, Distinct, Values, AllNotBlak, Related y RelatedTable, comprenderá el contexto de fila y de filtro, la doble iteración.El presente curso está enfocado a analistas de datos que manejen Excel que cuenten con conocimientos intermedios de Excel, una cuenta de Excel 365 y conocimientos general es en el manejo de datos.
